What is an online veterinary telehealth membership?

Your membership gives you access to 24/7 live veterinary care. You can choose from live chat or video appointments – whichever works best for you.

How does the membership work?

You sign up via this portal for the discounted rate (50% off). Once you submit your payment, you’ll get redirected to your care portal. You’ll log in with the email you use for payment and will have immediate access to 24/7 pet care.

What do I need to sign up?

All you need is your credit card and an email that will be used for future access to the system.

Can I cancel at any time?

Absolutely. Just want one session? No problem. Just email support@teletails.com and we’ll update your account.

What’s the care that’s being offered?

We call them virtual consultations, or more specifically, chat and/or video sessions with veterinary professionals. We don’t diagnose or prescribe medication, but we can provide guidance, information, and insights when you have questions. Can’t make it to a clinic, or don’t know if you need to be seen in person? We’ve got you.

Are these real vets?

Our experts are a team of in-house veterinary nurses supervised by vets and trained in providing actionable, caring assistance for your family. Our teams don’t have sales quotas or incentives for providing other than what’s best for your pet.

Can I talk to the same veterinary expert every time?

Yes! There’s nothing we love more than being your pet coach through all stages of pet parenting. If you like someone you met, you can schedule follow-up visits with the same pro. But if you need help immediately, just start a new session and we’ll get you in contact with a pro right away, whether or not your regular vet is available.

Can you prescribe medications?

Veterinary regulations vary by state, but generally a hands-on, in-clinic exam is required to get a prescription.

Is the membership available for all types of pets?

Are there any discounts for multi-pet households or long-term commitments?

As long as your pets are in the same household, all your pets are covered under the $9.99 a month fee.

How do I schedule a telehealth appointment?

Use your email to enter the system. Select chat or video. If you choose a chat session, you’ll be connected with a pro immediately. If you choose a video, you confirm a time that works for you. As the time approaches, you’ll get a text message and an email with an access link to your video session.

What are the hours of operation for telehealth appointments?

Do I have to have a veterinarian already?

No. We provide online care that may require an in-person follow-up. If this is the case, we’ll help you find the right provider that fits your needs.
